(AP) -- Kayte Christensen's 21 points and 13 rebounds led UC Santa Barbara (No. 9 ESPN/USA Today, No. 15 AP) to a 74-58 win over Brigham Young on Friday in the first game of the KU Credit Union Jayhawk Classic. Lisa Osgulhorpe's three-point play with seven minutes left tied it at 51 for BYU. But Santa Barbara (4-1) clamped down on defense, holding the Cougars to just seven points the rest of the way.
