KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Led by Desiree Francis' 18 points, Iowa State (No. 11 ESPN/USA Today; No. 10 AP) advanced to the semifinals of the Big 12 women's basketball tournament with a 93-58 victory Wednesday over Oklahoma State. The Cyclones (23-5) scored 19 straight points in the first half to move to a 38-10 lead as Oklahoma State made only 5 of 38 shots -- 13 percent -- and trailed 43-14 at the break. Iowa State shot 53 percent for the game as the Cowgirls mustered just 26 percent shooting from the field.
