EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) -- Andrea Garner scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead No. 6 Penn State to a 66-34 victory over Northwestern in Big Ten play Sunday. Both teams started slowly, with Penn State (22-3, 13-1) holding a 5-4 lead after nine minutes. The Nittany Lions went on a 9-2 run and led 29-17 at halftime. The Wildcats (6-19, 3-12) scored the first seven points of the second half. A 3-pointer by Penn State's Leslie Shepherd was answered by a jumper from Dana Leonard to make it 32-26 with 17:56 led. Penn State then used a 14-0 burst to take control. Maren Walseth scored 11 points for the Nittany Lions and Ashley Luke added 10. Tami Sears was the leading scorer for Northwestern with 16.
