SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) -- Freshman Jess Hansen scored a season-high 19 points as UC Santa Barbara (No. 13 ESPN/USA Today, No. 11 AP) beat Long Beach State 92-61 on Sunday, extending the Gauchos' winning streak to 19 games. Hansen scored 14 points in the first half as the Gauchos (23-3, 11-0 Big West) used a 24-4 run to take a 40-18 lead. Erin Buescher added 17 points and 13 rebounds for Santa Barbara. The 49ers (14-9, 8-3) opened the second half with a 6-0 run to make it 40-24, but that was as close as the game would get. The Gauchos went on a 21-8 run to make it 61-32 with 12:29 remaining. Rhonda Smith led the 49ers with 18 points. Both teams shot below 40 percent from the field and the teams combined for 51 turnovers, including 28 by Long Beach State.
