 NORFOLK, Virginia (Ticker) -- Lucienne Berthieu led five players in double figures with 20 points as 16th-ranked Old Dominion remained perfect against George Mason with an 88-65 Colonial Athletic Association victory. Natalie Diaz scored 17 points and Hamchetou Maiga added 12 for Old Dominion (16-4, 8-0 CAA), which shot 61 percent from the field (20-of-33) over the final 20 minutes to build on a 35-26 halftime lead. The Lady Monarchs improved to 23-0 all-time against George Mason in a series that began with an 83-20 rout during the 1975-76 season. The last 10 wins have come by an average of 30 points. Berthieu added 14 rebounds for Old Dominion, which has posted consecutive routs since a 58-50 loss to 12th-ranked Rutgers on Tuesday. Shelbylynn McBride scored a career-high 17 points and Jen Surlas added 16 for the Patriots (7-13, 3-6), who had won consecutive games after a five-game losing streak.
