MIAMI (Ticker) -- Cal Bouchard hit a 3-pointer to spark a decisive run early in the second half and finished with 19 points to lead 18th-ranked Boston College to a 66-55 Big East Conference victory over Miami. Bouchard's 3-pointer put Boston College (18-4, 7-1 Big East) ahead for good, 30-28, with 19 1/2 minutes remaining. Brianne Stepherson hit a jumper and Kim Mackie made a layup to extend the Eagles' lead to 34-28. Miami (8-11, 2-6), which had won the previous four meetings between the schools, climbed within 38-37 with just under 13 minutes to play before Boston College pulled away. Jamie Cournoyer had 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Eagles, who have won 13 of their last 14 games. They shot 46 percent (23-of-50) and used a 41-27 rebounding advantage to overcome 20 turnovers. Camilla Osth scored 16 points and was the only player in double figures for the Hurricanes, who shot 38 percent (23-of-61). Miami still leads the series, 12-4.
