SEATTLE (Ticker) -- Washington stunned 25th-ranked Stanford, 85-83, as Julia Gray made two free throws with 3.8 seconds remaining in a Pac-10 Conference game. Gray scored only seven points, but her foul shots gave Washington (6-13, 2-5 Pac-10) the 500th win in school history. Megan Franza poured in 33 points on 11-of-21 shooting for the Huskies, who had lost three in a row and eight of their previous nine games. Washington also got 25 points from Loree Payne. Jamie Carey made 7-of-8 3-pointers and scored 25 points to lead Stanford (11-5, 4-2), the only other Pac-10 school with at least 500 wins. The Cardinal blew a 10-point lead, then rallied from a six-point deficit in the second half. Two free throws by Carey capped a 9-3 spurt and forged an 83-83 tie with 9.3 seconds left. Stanford shot 48 percent (31-of-64) but had a four-game winning streak stopped.
