LUBBOCK, Texas (Ticker) -- Plenette Pierson scored 22 points to lead four players in double figures as 14th-ranked Texas Tech notched its first Big 12 Conference victory with a 75-50 rout of Colorado.

Keitha Dickerson scored 15 points, Katrisa O'Neal added 14 and Melinda Pharies 10 for Texas Tech (12-2, 1-2 Big 12), which won for just the second time in four games. The Lady Raiders opened conference play with losses to Iowa State and Oklahoma.

Pierson shot 10-of-16 from the floor to help the Lady Raiders shoot 49 percent (32-of-66) overall as they improved to 7-0 at home. Pierson scored 11 points in the first half as Texas Tech opened a 39-20 cushion.

The Lady Raiders possess the best overall record in the Big 12 Conference but are tied for eighth in the league.

Kami Carmann scored 12 points Jenny Roulier added 10 for Colorado (5-8, 0-2), which suffered its season-high third straight loss. The Buffaloes shot 40 percent (23-of-58) and attempted just four free throws.
