 WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Alicia Ratay scored 23 points and Ruth Riley added 18 and 13 rebounds as No. 8 Notre Dame raced to an early lead and cruised past Georgetown, 82-60, in a Big East conference matchup. Ratay made 8-of-14 shots, including 4-of-6 3-point attempts while Riley was 10-of-10 from the free throw line. Notre Dame, which has won seven straight games, is 11-2 overall and 2-0 in the conference. Meaghan Leahy and Kelley Siemon chiped in with nine points apiece off the bench for the Fighting Irish, who led 43-29 after a half. Notre Dame made 17-of-31 shots and held a 23-15 rebounding edge over the opening 20 minutes. Katie Smrcka-Duffy led Georgetown (7-6, 1-2 Big East) with 19 points. Lesley Walker added 15 points for the Hoyas, who shot just 32 percent (20-of-62) from the field, including 1-of-7 from 3-point range. Georgetown had 14 steals in the contest but committed 16 turnovers.
