BOULDER, Colorado (Ticker) -- Angie Welle scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Tracy Gahan and Desiree Francis added 13 points apiece as 11th-ranked Iowa State posted an 83-68 triumph over Colorado in a Big 12 Conference matchup.

Welle made 8-of-13 shots from the field to help Iowa State (11-2, 3-0 Big 12) to its seventh straight victory. The Cyclones shot 48 percent (32-of-67), making 12-of-25 3-point attempts.

Iowa State, which led 44-26 at halftime, finished with a 48-35 rebounding edge and won easily despite commiting 21 turnovers.

Colorado (5-7, 0-1) was done in by poor shooting in the first half. The Buffaloes made just 9-of-34 shots, including 3-of-12 from 3-point range over the first 20 minutes.

Britt Hartshorn led Colorado with 21 points and Sabrina Scott added 17.
