KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Pat Summitt, ever the perfectionist, could find little wrong with Tennessee's performance.

The Tennessee coach watched Monday night as the No. 2 Lady Vols dominated in every conceivable way in a 113-55 victory over Old Dominion (No. 19 ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, No. 21 AP).

Semeka Randall led Tennessee (10-1) with 21 points, Tamika Catchings had 19, Michelle Snow 16 and Kara Lawson 15.

The Lady Vols tied a season high with eight 3-pointers, scored 63 first-half points and outrebounded Old Dominion 51-26.

"I told our team we did some really good things tonight both offensively and defensively," Summitt said. "Our defense is playing well and we are playing well together offensively. We have shown a lot of improvement in the last four games."

Lucienne Berthieu had 18 points for Old Dominion (7-3), which allowed the most points in school history.

"We are not the Old Dominion of the past and Tennessee came out to play that team tonight," Old Dominion coach Wendy Larry said.

Tennessee hit its first seven shots from the field. The Lady Vols, who shot 57 percent overall, made three 3-pointers in the first three minutes and took a 15-6 lead.

"It's always good to get off fast," Lawson said. "We hit the 3-pointers early and got in a groove. The 3-point shot has been good for the whole team."

Maiga Hamchetou and Berthieu tried to keep Old Dominion close with a strong inside attack, but the Monarchs couldn't keep pace with the Lady Vols. Tennessee used a 23-9 run, sparked by Randall and Gwen Jackson, to take a 40-17 lead midway through the first half.

The Lady Vols closed the half with a flurry, outscoring Old Dominion 23-6 to take a 63-25 lead. The late spurt included three 3-pointers, giving the Lady Vols eight for the first half.

Any hope for Old Dominion ended when the Lady Vols outscored the Monarchs 17-2 to start the second half. Randall and Lawson led the charge, combining for eight points.
