BOX SCORE
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Sarah Wanless scored a career-high 26 points to lead San Francisco past Oregon 66-60 Sunday. Wanless made two crucial plays over the last five minutes as the Dons (6-5) defeated a ranked opponent for the first time since 1996. She hit a desperation 3-pointer from the top of the key to extend San Francisco's lead to 57-53. Then she blocked a shot at the other end and saved it while falling out of bounds -- which led directly to a layup by teammate Melanie Turner. Oregon (No. 18 ESPN/USA Today; No. 22 AP) got within 62-60 with 1:13 left, but the Dons scored the game's final four points. San Francisco held the Ducks' leading scorer, Shaquala Williams, to six points on 3 of 14 shooting. Brianne Meharry had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Oregon (9-3), while Angelina Wolvert added 14 points. Lindsay Huff, who was 3-for-3 from 3-point range, had 13 points and six assists for San Francisco and Courtney Keegan finished with 12 points and eight rebounds. Oregon, which held a 34-26 lead, went 1-for-13 from 3-point range, including Williams' 0-for-7 performance.
The Dons were 4 of 5 from 3-point range and 18 of 19 at the free throw line.
