	We asked which conference was the best and it was a a mailbag full of Big Ten, SEC and Big 12 backers. Here are a few samples: "I think the Big Ten is the best conference in the nation. The teams play tough non-conference schedules (Notre Dame, Nebraska, and USC). They have one of the hardest conference schedules in the country where the teams just beat up on each other. Big linemen and tough defense is the tradition of the Big Ten and now they are adding impressive quarterbacks to the resume. In bowl games the past two years they have handed it to the SEC and this speaks volumes as I believe the SEC was the premier conference three years ago." Emily Carder Augusta, Ga. “ There really is NO argument here. Both are great conferences...but the Big Ten just has the tools from top to bottom. No game in the big ten is easy yet some SEC games are 'sure things.' Was that hard? ” — Tom O'Brien, Miami "The SEC is by far the best conference. Also, the SEC has some of the best college football rivalries in the country; like Auburn-Alabama, Ole Miss-Miss State, along with others. My vote goes to the SEC." Don't look at what happens from September to December. Look at January. The Big Ten has a 4-1 bowl record against the SEC the last two years, not to mention 30 bowl wins in the '90s.
