CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (AP) _ Adrian Brown rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns Saturday as Youngstown State overcame a fourth quarter deficit to beat Northern Iowa, 29-20. Trailing 20-19 in the fourth quarter, Youngstown State took the lead on a 10 play, 65-yard drive capped off by a 20-yard FG by Mark Griffith. After the Panthers punted, Brown put the game away for the Penguins with a 67-yard TD run for a 29-20 lead with 3:59 remaining. Northern Iowa (6-2 overall, 2-2 Gateway Conference) took a 14-13 lead in the third quarter on a 30-yard TD pass from Ryan Helming to Mike Furrey. But Youngstown State embarked on a lengthy drive that finished with a 36-yard TD run by Ime Akpan with 1:41 left in the third. Jeff Ryan's two-point conversion failed, giving the Penguins a 19-14 lead. UNI took a one-point lead early in the fourth on Cody DeHaan's 26-yard TD pass from Helming with 11:52 remaining. The win keeps Youngstown State (7-1, 4-0) in a first-place tie with Illinois State in the Gateway Conference. Illinois State defeated Southern Illinois 55-48 Saturday to remain unbeaten in conference play. Helming completed 20-34 passes for 235 yards, one interception and two touchdowns. UNI's Adam Benge rushed for 98 yards on 18 carries. Ryan was 11-20 for 183 yards for the Penguins, and wide receiver Elliot Giles finished with 5 receptions for 102 yards. ^
