MACOMB, Ill. (AP) _ Jason Ringena rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns and Southwest Missouri State outscored Western Illinois 13-0 in the second half for a come-from-behind 27-17 win Saturday. The Leathernecks (3-2, 0-2 Gateway Conference), ranked 19th in the latest I-AA poll, rolled to a 17-14 halftime lead. But it was all Bears (3-2, 1-1) in the second half. Travis Brawner kicked a 26-yard field goal to tie the game at 17 in the third period. Ringena, who carried 20 times and scored on a 53-yard romp in the opening quarter, plunged 1 yard for a TD in the final period. Then Brawner added a 39-yard field goal with 1:40 left. Charles Tharp led Western with 23 carries for 126 yards, including a 1-yard TD run, while quarterback Mark Zanders was 17-of-25 passing for 180 yards and a 26-yard TD to J.R. Niklos. SW Missouri quarterback Jay Rodgers was 17-of-26 passing for 237 yards, including a 12-yard scoring pass to Jeff Hewitt.
