DAYTON, Ohio (AP) _ Running back Jimmy Lee had 18 carries for 202 yards and four touchdowns to lead Dayton past Butler 42-7 on Saturday. Lee had 15 carries for 118 yards and two touchdowns to help the Flyers (2-3, 1-0 Pioneer Football League) to a 21-0 lead over the Bulldogs (3-2, 0-1) at halftime. Lee's long run of 49 yards came with 9:50 left in the third quarter. He added a 35-yard run with 8:24 left in the quarter. Lee averaged 11.2 yards rushing. The senior had the highest rushing total of his career. Dayton rushed for 362 yards to 73 for Butler. Pat McLaughlin (6-of-10 for 47 yards) opened the scoring with a 3-yard run in the first quarter with 11:22 remaining. David George added the Flyers' other touchdown with a 12-yard run in the third quarter. Steve Scola (16-of 33 for 161 yards) threw an 18-yard pass to Anthony Slatter in the fourth quarter for Butler's only touchdown of the game. Scola was sacked four times. The Flyers finished with 409 yards to 234 for the Bulldogs. It was Dayton's seventh win in the last eight games against Butler.
