BOX SCORE
LOGAN, Utah (AP) _ Jeff Crosbie threw for 265 yards and four touchdowns and Demario Brown rushed for 135 yards on 21 carries as Utah State beat Stephen F. Austin 51-17 on Saturday night. A strong defense and effective kickoff coverage helped the Aggies (1-1) spend much of the game in Lumberjacks' territory. Utah State began first-half drives at midfield and at SFA's 46, 36 and 13-yard lines. The superior field position led to a 34-0 halftime lead. Stephen F. Austin (1-1), an NCAA Division I-AA program, had 9 total yards in the first half. The Lumberjacks finished with 172 yards, much of it on a 63-yard TD run by Karon Coleman in the fourth quarter. Three of Crosbie's TDs came in the second quarter, when he found Aaron Jones for scoring plays of 6 and 36 yards and connected with Adrion Pierson on a 10-yard TD pass. Jones caught 11 passes for 188 yards and three TDs. Brad Bohn kicked two second-quarter field goals, from 32 and 49 yards. The Lumberjacks got a 26-yard field goal in the third quarter after the Aggies fumbled at their own 5.
