NEW YORK (AP) _ Steve Kalberer passed for two touchdowns and ran for another as St. John's beat St. Francis 35-0 Saturday.

Pete Dileo caught the two TD passes and finished with five catches for 131 yards for St. John's (1-0), which led 35-0 at halftime.

St. Francis (0-2) has lost 12 straight games over three seasons.

St. John's took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter on Jamal Lambert's 30-yard interception return and a 91-yard pass from Kalberer to Dileo.

The Red Storm scored three more touchdowns in the second quarter _ a 12-yard pass from Kalberer to Dileo, Ed Romano's 2-yard run and Kalberer's 4-yard dash with 7 seconds left in the half.
