HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) _ Curtis Keaton ran for 118 yards and one touchdown as James Madison overcame an early 14-point deficit to defeat Northeastern 29-21 Saturday. Northeastern's Fred Vallett threw first-quarter touchdown passes of 54 and 24 yards, but the Dukes (1-1, 1-0 Atlantic 10) scored the next 29 points, including Keaton's 40-yard TD run with 2:27 to play. Vallett was 21-of-38 for 209 yards for Northeastern (1-1, 0-1), which managed only 79 yards rushing. Vallett scored the Huskies' only other touchdown on a 1-yard run with 56 seconds left in the game. A 51-yard punt return for a touchdown by James Madison's Delvin Joyce cut Northeastern's lead to 14-10 at halftime, and quarterback Charles Berry put the Dukes ahead for good with a 4-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. Berry was 14-of-25 for 198 yards. He and Vallett each threw one interception. The Huskies' Dave Klemic caught seven passes for 125 yards, including a 54-yard TD.
