1. How will the team adjust to John Phillips role as head coach? Will he be able to make the transition from assistant to the head coach?
2. Can Kevin Johnson be a go-to player in the post? Will he get help and if so from whom?
3. Can Dante Swanson and Greg Harrington pick up the scoring load left by Marcus Hill? They'll continue to be two of the better on-the-ball defenders but will they be better scorers?
Andy Katz's Scenarios
Best case: The Golden Hurricane hang with Fresno State all season, tie or win the title and then win the conference tournament on their home court.
Worst case: Replacing Hill and David Shelton is too hard and the Hurricane finish in fourth, missing out on the postseason.
