I just tried to do what I was capable of today. Steve Blake was getting me
the ball, and I just tried to score whenever I could. It seemed we were just
flying up in the air today going after rebounds. We got out to such a big
lead, but we knew they were always capable of coming back so we just kept
going at them.

Because everyone doubted us in the beginning of the season, it would be a
great accomplishment to show everyone how great a team we are. Getting to
the championship game of this tournament would help us do that. Any loss is
a failure to this team.
To tell you the truth we have to feel like this is
our tournament coming in this year. We haven't been to the finals since
1984, so we want to prove something this year.
We don't have a feel for which one of us is going to have a big game before
we get out on the floor. We just come out and play. We do what we got to do,
you know. Whether it's me or Terence or Juan or Steve, we all just want to
come out and play.
It doesn't matter who we play in the next round. We just want to continue to
win, and advance to the championship. | |
