    Get the Coach's Edge

Let the experts at Coach's Edge get you ready for the NCAA Tournament with an inside look at the Seton Hall playbook.

  • Seton Hall is a young team that has its best basketball ahead of it. Tommy Amaker has done a great job getting his players to believe in themselves.

The player who makes the Pirates go is point guard Shaheen Holloway. As a senior, he's playing with a sense of urgency. He and Rimas Kaukenas are the team leaders. Darius Lane and Samuel Dalembert are still learning how to play the game. Dalembert gives them a defensive presence inside that allows them to pressure and funnel to the shot blocker. Lane is a key offensive player with excellent 3-point range.

Seton Hall is playing excellent basketball right now. However, the Pirates are a weak rebounding team. You would expect Dalembert and Charles Manga to be able to crash the boards, but they don't the way they should.

In the tournament, the Pirates will eventually meet physical teams that can rebound and get second-chance points. They should be out by the second round, but this will at least be a taste for them. -- Len Elmore, ESPN
