The Bulldogs benefited more from a mid-year transfer than any other team this season. Scott Robisch, who came from Oklahoma State, gave the Bulldogs an immediate lift. He took the pressure off forwards Mike Marshall and Ryan Hainje inside.

Butler was not the favorite leading into the conference season. But Detroit failed to get past the Bulldogs in the conference title game.

UW Green Bay and Cleveland State made runs but in the end Butler's experience and dominance inside was too much too handle.

The Bulldogs have a chance to play a tight first-round game but are probably not a Sweet 16 contender. -- Andy Katz, ESPN.com
