ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- When Tracy McGrady hit Bobby Jackson in the
face with the ball, a hard-fought game turned into a fist fight.

"He threw the ball and it hit me in the face," said Jackson,
who scored 10 points in Sacramento's 114-108 overtime victory over
Orlando on Tuesday night. "I don't know who he thinks I am, but I
won't stand for that. He got a little carried away. I won't take
that from anybody."
After the Magic, trailing by two points, called timeout with
35.1 seconds remaining, McGrady raised up the ball to shoot, but
Jackson slapped at the ball and hit his wrist.
McGrady then bounced the ball off Jackson's head, and Jackson
followed by shoving McGrady with both hands in the chest. McGrady
immediately tackled Jackson, and the two began to wrestle on the
floor before teammates, coaches and officials could break up the
fight.
"I was just turning around to shoot the ball and he snatched it
out of the air," said McGrady, who led Orlando with 25 points, 10
rebounds and eight assists. "I threw the ball at him because the
play was dead."
During the melee that followed, Sacramento's Vlade Divac and
Hidayet Turkoglu were seen leaving the bench and heading onto the
floor. The pair face possible suspensions. NBA rules mandate a
suspension for any player who leaves the bench area during a fight
on the court.
Orlando coach Doc Rivers said the fight overshadowed an exciting
game.
"It's really not the way you wanted the game to end because it
was a well-played game for the most part," Rivers said. "It's bad
that the McGrady and Jackson issue is what we will be talking about
for the next few days."
Webber, who had 33 points and 15 rebounds, said the scuffle was
understandable, considering how high emotions were running.
"You know, there's fights in every sport, and it's only because
how passionate guys are playing, protecting their manhood," said
Webber, who had his 37th double-double of the season. "So, that's
all it was. nothing more, nothing less."
Predrag Stojakovic, who scored six of his 25 points in overtime,
hit the first basket of overtime and then broke a 104-104 tie with
a turnaround jumper. He hit two free throws with 16.4 seconds left
as Sacramento moved out to a four-point lead.
McGrady had tied the game at 102 with a pair of free throws with
57 seconds remaining in regulation. But McGrady badly missed a
potential go-ahead jumper with approximately 21 seconds remaining.
McGrady made five of his first seven shots and scored 11 points
in the first quarter. He went on to miss 16 of his last 21 shots.
Orlando shot 8-for-28 (29 percent) in the third quarter and
2-for-10 in overtime.
"I took some shots that, in my lifetime, I don't miss," said
Orlando point guard Darrell Armstrong, who scored 13 points on
5-for-18 shooting.
The Kings had a chance to clinch the win in regulation, but
Stojakovic missed a 3-pointer from the top of the key with less
than one second remaining.
Doug Christie's 3-pointer from the right wing gave Sacramento a
102-100 lead with 1:52 remaining and punctuated an 11-3 run by
Sacramento.
Game notes
Sacramento has beaten the Magic in five of the last six
meetings. ... Minnesota Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper was in
attendance and received a round of applause from the sellout crowd.
Culpepper was raised in Ocala, about 90 miles north of Orlando, and
attended nearby UCF. ... Entering the game, Orlando's opponents
were shooting 72.9 percent from the free-throw line, second-worst
in the league. Sacramento shot 32-for-36 for 89 percent.
