MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Glenn Robinson was well-rested and playing with
a sense of urgency.

Robinson returned from a one-game suspension to score a
career-high 45 points as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Golden State
Warriors 122-95 Sunday night.
Robinson, who missed Friday's game against the Vancouver
Grizzlies while serving a suspension for his part in an altercation
with Chicago's Ron Artest on Tuesday night, shot 18-for-27 from the
field and 7-for-8 from the line as the Bucks won their fourth
straight.
"I was pumped," Robinson said. "I didn't think I should have
been suspended to begin with. I felt like I had to make up for lost
time.
"They started the game with smaller guys on me (Larry Hughes
and Bob Sura). I was able to get it going. Then, we had a big third
quarter."
Jason Caffey and Sam Cassell each had a double-double for
Milwaukee. Caffey, a former Warrior, had 15 points and 11 rebounds,
while Cassell finished with 14 points and 10 assists.
"I thought we played good basketball in the second half,"
Milwaukee coach George Karl said. "We had 36 assists, which shows
we were passing the ball. We outrebounded the best rebounding team
in the NBA (59-38).
"Glenn had it going. We left him in because he was going for
his career high. He had a little extra after missing that game."
Antawn Jamison led Golden State with 26 points. Adonal Foyle had
15 points and 12 rebounds.
Golden State coach Dave Cowens anticipated a big game by
Robinson.
"We knew he was going to go at us," Cowens said. "We didn't
know he was going to have a spectacular night like he did, but
that's the way it goes."
Jamison said the Warriors gave the Bucks too many second
chances. "They've got a lot of great shooters on this team, and if
you give those guys second and third chances, they're really going
to kill you," Jamison said.
Robinson, whose previous high was a 44-point game against the
Washington Bullets in 1997, hit his first three shots and scored 12
points in the first quarter as the Bucks took a 36-24 lead.
Milwaukee built its lead to 16 points early in the second
quarter before Golden State went on a 11-0 run and closed within
55-50.
The Bucks, led by 18 first-half points by Robinson, held a 63-58
advantage at halftime.
Jamison scored 18 points in the first half for Golden State.
The Bucks broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring
the Warriors 35-23. Robinson scored 15 points in the period.
Milwaukee built its lead to 21 in the fourth quarter and cruised
the rest of the way.
Game notes
Milwaukee's Scott Williams did not dress because of the
flu. ... The Bucks' Tim Thomas left the game in the second quarter
with back spasms. He did not return. ... Warriors' center Marc
Jackson missed Sunday's game with a strained right groin.
