MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee Bucks coach George Karl said Glenn
Robinson "had a great ride in the fourth quarter."

Great enough to turn a game around and beat the Boston Celtics.
Robinson, who struggled through the first three quarters just to
score eight points, had 20 in the final period Saturday night as
the Bucks beat the Boston Celtics 104-99.
"We struggled the whole game," Robinson admitted, until they
finally tried a new tactic in the final period. "We went to the
bucket and we started getting some fouls. And we played some good
defense in the fourth quarter, too. We found a way to win."
Going inside, Robinson got to the foul line 10 times in the
final period and made nine of them. His two free throws with 2:26
remaining put the Bucks up 93-91, and he followed with a basket and
3-pointer for a seven-point lead that held up for the Bucks' 11th
victory in their last 14 games.
The Bucks, who have now beaten the Celtics eight of the last
nine times the teams have met, also got 16 points from Tim Thomas
and 14 from Sama Cassell.
The Celtics, who were led by Antoine Walker with 33 points and
Paul Pierce with 28, saw their winning streak snapped at two games,
but Coach Rick Pitino was still happy with the way his club played.
"The good thing is -- and it's funny -- in a span of 10 days
we've become a pretty good basketball team. We've really picked it
up in all facets of the game. The only thing I was disappointed in
is that we didn't make the passses (at the end) and we got
dominated on the glass."
The Bucks outrebounded the Celtics 42-33.
The Celtics, who had trailed almost the entire game, went ahead
68-66 with 4:14 left in the third period on two free throws
by Walker, who had 15 points to dominate the quarter, and led 77-76
going into the fourth period.
Karl was frustrated much of the game by the fact that the
Celtics got so many free throw attempts.
"It was an ugly basketball game, a lot of whistles. It was a
Christmas game tonight," he said. "But then Glenn started going
to the rim and tried getting some calls." The Celtics finished
24-of-34 on free throws and the Bucks were 29-of-33.
"In the end," said Walker, "we fouled them to much and let
them get back in it easily. Big Dog's tough. I think he was
frustrated that he wasn't getting the calls that he's used to
getting. But he came out loud in the fourth quarter, like great
players always do."
Ray Allen did not score until he hit two free throws with 7:55
left in the second quarter to give Milwaukee a 34-28 lead. He had
six points in the period to help the Bucks take a 53-47 halftime
advantage.
Robinson's jumper with 6:26 left in the first quarter capped a
10-0 run to put Milwaukee ahead 12-6, and the Bucks led 27-25 at
the end of the period.
Game notes
Allen, who has not missed a game since the Bucks drafted
him in 1996, played in his 322nd straight contest, six short of the
Bucks record Lee Mayberry set from 1993-96. ... Boston hasn't won
in Milwaukee since Jan. 3, 1999. ... The Celtics hit 11 free throws
in the first period to just one for the Bucks.
