GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) _ Grant Hill scored 22 points and the Detroit Pistons had 62 points in the second half Saturday night to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers 109-104 in an exhibition game. Jerry Stackhouse added 21 points and Marcus Brown had 18 points for the Pistons (2-1) in the game played before 8,844 fans at Van Andel Arena. Philadelphia was led by Larry Hughes' 22 points, while Todd MacCulloch had 19 points and 10 rebounds. The 76ers (1-2) outrebounded the Pistons 42-36 for the game, but Detroit outshot Philadelphia 56 percent to 46.2 percent and outscored the 76ers 23-16 from the free throw line. Detroit trailed by 10 points in the third quarter.
