SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- The Sacramento Kings would be quite happy to meet the Spurs in the playoffs. After all, they're undefeated against San Antonio this season.

The Kings won at the Alamodome for the second time this season, getting 28 points from Corliss Williamson in a come-from-behind 108-98 victory Wednesday night over the defending NBA champions.

Sacramento is 3-0 against the Spurs, with one more game between the teams set for April 11.

"This is a heck of a win for us," Sacramento coach Rick Adelman said. "I would have to say this is one of the biggest wins of the year. It goes to show how if you play hard and put out a great effort good things can happen for you in this league."

Sacramento won despite the absence of leading scorer Chris Webber, who missed his second straight game with a strained left hamstring. Vlade Divac added 20 points for the Kings, while Jason Williams scored 18.

"I expected us to win this game," said Williams, who scored 13 of his points in the fourth quarter. "I told the guys before the game that it would be tough without Chris Webber. He makes a lot of things easier for us when he is in the lineup and missing him makes it much harder. We did a great job of stepping up tonight and put ourselves in a position to win this game."

San Antonio, which lost its third straight game, was led by Tim Duncan with 28 points. David Robinson scored 23.

"We competed hard and we got beat," San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich said. "We competed tonight. Everyone competed hard. Down the stretch Sacramento hit every shot and we didn't. It doesn't mean we didn't have effort."

Sacramento, which trailed 58-47 at halftime, rallied behind 12 points by Williamson to cut its deficit to 76-75 entering the fourth.

The Kings continued the run in the fourth quarter, seizing their first lead since the second quarter, 81-80, on Williams' 3-pointer with 9:38 to play.

Sacramento continued to stretch its advantage, grabbing a 95-84 lead on Divac's 15-foot jump shot with 4:06 remaining.

San Antonio could get no closer than eight points the rest of the way as Sacramento connected on eight straight free throws over the final 1:11.

"With Chris Webber out and Nick Anderson out, that's 10 rebounds apiece," said Williamson of the Kings, who outrebounded San Antonio 41-33. "Somebody had to step it up on the boards and we did a good job of keeping their big guys occupied so the little guys could slide in there and pick up some rebounds."

San Antonio trailed 26-16 after the first quarter, then blitzed the Kings 42-21 in the second as Terry Porter came off the bench to score 11 points. San Antonio's season-high 42 points in the second quarter came on 16-of-18 shooting from the field.

"We are not executing the way we should be," San Antonio point guard Avery Johnson said. "We are in a fall right now. This is a bad time for that. The effort is there, we are missing easy shots. This happens when you are not winning."
