DENVER (AP) _ Lamond Murray had 20 points and nine rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers won their third consecutive road game with a 100-92 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.

Andre Miller had nine assists and scored nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter for the Cavaliers, who had lost 11 straight road games before winning at Chicago, the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver.

Murray was only 5-for-16 from the field, but 9-for-11 from the free-throw line, and Miller was 3-for-3 shooting in the final quarter for Cleveland.

Nick Van Exel had 20 points and 16 assists, and Chris Gatling and Raef LaFrentz each had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Denver, which has lost four straight to Cleveland.

The Cavaliers put the game away in the fourth quarter holding the Nuggets to 32 percent shooting (7-for-22). Denver was scoreless over the final 2:31 while Cleveland made 9 of 14 shots.

Denver took a 77-75 lead into the fourth quarter, but Bob Sura sank a 3-pointer and scored five points in the first 5:14 of the quarter to give Cleveland an 87-85 lead.

Van Exel's five points, including a 3-pointer with 4:41 left, got the Nuggets to 89-88, but Miller answered with two off-balance shots, both in Van Exel's face to keep the Cavaliers ahead 93-90.

After LaFrentz missed a 3-pointer, Sura found Shawn Kemp alone for a breakaway dunk. George McCloud's basket made it 95-92 at 2:31, but Antonio McDyess and LaFrentz fouled out 16 seconds apart.

Miller hit three free throws and Murray two in the last 1:19 to seal the win.

With the game tied 51-51 at the half, Kemp hit his first two shots and two free throws early in the third quarter to give Cleveland a 59-57 lead, but the Nuggets went to its reserves when McDyess drew his fourth foul to go ahead 67-63 as Gatling scored five points over three minutes.

McCloud and Van Exel hit 3s to put the Nuggets ahead 77-72, but a free throw by Andrew DeClercq and a jump shot by Danny Ferry cut Denver's lead to two in the last minute of the quarter.

Two early fouls on Kemp limited his playing time to seven minutes in the first quarter, but Murray's nine points helped the Cavaliers lead 27-22 after one quarter. Denver made only 9 of 29 shots and missed all four 3-point attempts.

The Nuggets' shooting picked up slightly in the second quarter, but backup Keon Clark scored four points on two jump shots and Gatling, another reserve, had five points to keep them within striking distance.

Van Exel tied the game with a 3-pointer in the first half, and 18 seconds later, McCloud's two free throws gave Denver its first lead _ 51-49 with 1:04 left before halftime.

Miller tied it with a reverse layup for Cleveland, which hit only 7 of 18 in the second quarter, in the final minute before intermission.
