DENVER (AP) _ Keon Clark set career highs with 29 points and 16 rebounds as Denver's reserves led the Nuggets to a 122-88 win over the Golden State Warriors Friday night.

Clark was 13-for-20 from the field. Chris Gatling added 18 points and nine rebounds and the Nuggets backups outscored Golden State's 73-38.

Vonteego Cummings had a career-high 19 points for the Warriors, who lost to the Nuggets for the first time in three games. Larry Hughes missed his first 12 shots and finished 2-for-14 for five points.

Antonio McDyess hit his first three shots of the third quarter as Denver went on a 17-5 run to take a 71-51 lead.

Hughes hit an off balance jump shot with 6:37 left in period, but McDyess, Raef LaFrentz and Clark answered with a basket each to give the Nuggets their biggest lead, 80-56.

Denver led 88-67 after three quarters and went to its reserves, with Clark scoring 13 points in the final quarter.

Denver saw a 10-point lead cut to 40-38 midway through the second quarter on a spin move in the lane by Cummings, who had seven points in the quarter. The Nuggets regrouped with Jones and Gatling coming off the bench to hit two baskets each to make it 54-46 at halftime.
