SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- The tired Sacramento Kings had just enough left to hold off the Cleveland Cavaliers. Chris Webber had 25 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks Sunday night as the Kings beat the Cavaliers 113-102 on Sunday night for their fifth straight victory and ninth in 11 games. The Kings, coming off a 114-99 victory at Golden State on Saturday night, squandered a 19-point lead. "It's our problem, we need to figure it out," said center Vlade Divac, who had 11 points and nine rebounds. "We need to put people away, it's dangerous when you don't." Following a first half where the defensive effort was severely lacking, the Cavaliers were able to come back, twice cutting the lead to a point midway through the fourth quarter. Clinging to a 94-93 lead, Divac converted on a drive and Scot Pollard followed with a dunk, putting the Kings up by five. The lead was never less than five points the rest of the game. "The game was determined in the first half," Cavaliers coach Randy Wittman said. "That was as bad an effort as we've had in a long time. If you're down 16 on the road and losing to a good team, you're in trouble." Jason Williams scored 20 points and had 10 assists for the Kings. He and Predrag Stojakovic had 3-pointers in the final five minutes as Sacramento maintained the lead. Stojakovic, a reserve forward, had five of his 16 points in the fourth quarter. "Peja (Stojakovic) had some big baskets, that's what we pay him to do," Divac said. Cleveland's Shawn Kemp had 20 points and nine rebounds, but fouled out with 3:12 to play. Lamond Murray scored 18 points, and Mark Bryant had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Nick Anderson scored 12 points, and Pollard had 11 points and six rebounds. "I thought that for the most part, this being our third game in four nights, we came out at the start of the game and played pretty well," Kings coach Rick Adelman said. "We had a lull in the third quarter and then got a bounce in our step and started playing better. We made plays down the stretch to win the game." Trailing 74-55 early in the third quarter, the Cavaliers rallied behind the shooting of Murray. He scored nine points as Cleveland outscored the Kings 27-18, closing to 87-80 heading into the fourth quarter. Kemp's three-point play with 5:33 remaining cut the Kings' lead to 94-93. "We gave it a good effort in the second half, but if we had given that type of effort for four quarters we probably would have been in good shape tonight," Kemp said. Getting little resistance from Cleveland's suspect defense, the Kings shot 59 percent in the first half and led 69-53. Williams had eight of his 14 first-half points in the opening quarter when Sacramento led 37-26. Webber had 13 points and seven rebounds in the first half.
