Collected his first hit as a Dodger at New York on May 24 off Mike Birkbeck ... Had 33 multi-hit games on the season, ranking him sixth on the squad ... Had a season high eight-game hitting streak Sept. 16-24, batting .519 (14 for 27) with seven runs, two doubles, one triple, one home run and four RBI.

1994
Was acquired from the Reds May 29 in exchange for the infamous Deion Sanders ... Hit .298 in the leadoff spot for the Braves ... Had two nine-game hitting streaks June 5-14 and June 16-25 ... Hit .343 with runners in scoring position and .345 with runners on base ... Finished the season tied for eighth in the league with 434 at-bats.

His first National League season ended prematurely because of a separated left shoulder (on the disabled list starting July 14) ...
