Made 24 starts on the year, hitting safely in 16 of the 24 and seeing the Giants post wins in 13 of the 24 contests ... All 24 oh his starts were against right-handed pitchers, as he combined for a .267 average (28-for-105) vs. RHPs on the campaign.

Journeyman catcher struggled through .175 season ... Hit .296 after the All-Star break but only appeared in 11 games with 27 at-bats during that span ... Hit .209 in 19 games he started behind the plate ... Hit only homer of the season off Houston's John Hudek on Aug. 6 ... Had only two multi-hit games on the season ...
