MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Armando Reynoso finally got the best of the Milwaukee Brewers.

"Armando really pitched well against a lineup that's had a lot of success against him," Arizona manager Buck Showalter said Thursday night after Reynoso led the Diamondbacks to a 6-2 victory over Milwaukee. "He was the difference in the game for us."

Reynoso (2-3), 0-2 in three previous starts against the Brewers, did not allow a hit until Luis Lopez led off the sixth inning with a single to left. In 5 1/3 innings, the right-hander allowed two hits and two runs. He struck out three and walked two.

"I was pitching my game, so I know any moment a base hit can come," Reynoso said. "So I wasn't worried about it. That happened. That's baseball."

Byung-Hyun Kim got the final out for his second save.

Arizona took a 4-0 lead against Everett Stull (1-3) in the first on Erubiel Durazo's fifth homer and Luis Gonzalez's RBI single. Jay Bell's sixth homer, a two-out shot, made it 5-0 in the second, and Arizona added a run in the third on Travis Lee's RBI double.

Stull, who walked a career-high nine batters in losing his last outing, allowed five runs on four hits and three walks in two innings.

"He can't find the plate. It's something we're going to have to address very soon," Brewers manager Davey Lopes said.

After Lopez ended Reynoso's no-hitter in the sixth, pinch-hitter Kevin Barker followed with another single, and Belliard walked to load the bases. Reynoso retired Marquis Grissom before being replaced by Dan Plesac.

Plesac struck out Jeromy Burnitz, then walked Geoff Jenkins to make it 6-1. Mike Morgan walked Charlie Hayes to make it 6-2, and Sean Berry grounded out to third to end the inning.

"We're right back in it with one hit in that situation. We couldn't get the big hit when we needed it," Lopes said. "We can't get the two-out hit or the big hit, period."

Showalter and Arizona pitching coach Mark Connor were ejected after the sixth for arguing with third base umpire Jim Joyce, who ruled Jenkins checked a two-strike swing.

Lopez and Barker broke out of 0-for-12 slumps with their sixth-inning singles. ... Milwaukee's David Weathers has held batters to a .175 average in 19 innings of relief. ... Randy Johnson will start Friday night against San Diego when Arizona returns home. He was 6-0 in April with a 0.91 ERA, the third pitcher in history to win six games before May 1. ... Arizona's Matt Mantei started the ninth, but was taken out after walking two batters with two out. Showalter said Mantei has a sore right shoulder, which will be examined Friday.
