LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Shawn Green hit a two-run double and continued home on an error as the Los Angeles Dodgers rallied in the seventh inning to beat the Florida Marlins 5-3 Friday night and snap a four-game losing streak. The Dodgers trailed 3-2 when Green doubled down the right-field line to drive in Devon White and Gary Sheffield. Green scored when first baseman Kevin Millar threw wildly past Mike Redmond at the plate. Terry Adams (2-1) got the victory, giving up one run in two innings of relief. Jeff Shaw pitched the ninth for his sixth save. Brad Penny (3-2) took the loss, giving up four runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings, while walking five. With the game tied 2-all in the top of the seventh, David Berg led off with a single and Redmond hit a grounder that appeared to be a double-play opportunity for the Dodgers. But F.P. Santangelo, starting in place of second baseman Mark Grudzielanek, threw wildly past shortstop Kevin Elster, who was covering second. Berg scored from first as the ball went halfway down the left-field line to give the Marlins a 3-2 lead. After the Dodgers failed to score with the bases loaded in the first inning, the Marlins took a 2-0 lead in the second on RBI singles by Berg and Redmond. Los Angeles tied it in the fourth on a two-run RBI single by Elster. Green singled and stole second and Penny issued consecutive one-out walks to Todd Hundley and Adrian Beltre that loaded the bases. Elster singled to left to make it 2-all. Game notesThe Dodgers were one of the bright spots in Florida's bleak season last year. They lost seven of nine to the Marlins, including four of six at Dodger Stadium. ... Marlins infielder Luis Castillo begins a rehab assignment with Triple-A Calgary this weekend. ... Dodgers left-hander Jeff Williams, originally optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on April 24, instead has been placed on the DL retroactive to April 20 with a left wrist strain. The Dodgers requested the change in Williams' status and it was granted by league officials. ... Eight of Florida's players and two coaches are California natives.
