FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) _ Cristian Guzman hit his second home run in three days and Mike Lincoln pitched three strong innings to lift the Minnesota Twins over the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-1 Saturday. Loser Todd Ritchie was pounded for eight runs and seven hits in the first three innings, walking one and hitting two. Chad Allen led off for the Twins with a triple and scored on a single by Todd Walker. Matt Lawton added an RBI single that scored Walker and Mario Valdez lofted a two-run double that was misplayed by center fielder Chad Hermansen. Javier Valentin followed with an RBI double for a 5-0 lead. In the second, Ritchie hit the first two batters and Guzman homered on a 1-2 pitch to make it 8-0. Lincoln, the Twins No. 4 starter last year, allowed one run and two hits in three innings for the win. Dale Sveum scored the lone run for Pittsburgh on a sacrifice fly by Adiran Brown. Minnesota improved to 9-3 this spring.
