BOX SCORE
TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- Jim Edmonds, the subject of repeated trade rumors, hit his first homer of the spring and Ken Hill tossed three hitless innings as the Anaheim Angels posted a 6-3 victory over Colorado in a matchup of split squads. Edmonds, who is coveted by a number of American League teams, had been 1-for-6 this spring before singling and homering today. Garret Anderson also homered for Anaheim. Hill did not walk a batter and struck out three. Greg Cadaret and Eric Weaver each tossed a scoreless inning in relief. Scott Karl matched zeroes with Hill but Rick Croushore was tagged for five runs and six hits over 1 1/3 innings. Rigo Beltran and Aaron Small added a scoreless inning apiece in relief. Neifi Perez had a triple and scored a run for the Rockies, who managed just seven hits.
