Stanford's bash brothers

Jason and Jarron Collins
Stanford

Jason Collins
Jason Collins provides an inside presence for the Cardinal (as does his brother Jarron).

Stanford's Jason and Jarron Collins can give opponents double trouble.

People hear so much about the play of Casey Jacobsen, and deservingly so. He's a tenacious competitor who wants the rock in his hands at winning time. But one of the strengths of this Cardinal team is the play of the Collins brothers on the interior.

Both have been very active and possess a special winning mentality. They can rebound and play hard on both ends of the court. Just ask Arizona about them!

There are few teams that can put out a dynamic duo up front like this, sporting size and strength. Jarron is listed at 6-foot-11 and 255 pounds, while Jason is 7-foot and 260.

As they keep working hard, the stock of Stanford keeps going up. Balance has been a key for Stanford, with perimeter play and inside play. The Collinses take care of the inside, while Jacobsen, Ryan Mendez and Mike McDonald are keys on the perimeter.
