PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Travis Diener, Marquette
Guard Travis Diener showed guts and determination against in-state rival Wisconsin as he played through the pain of an ankle injury. Diener hit five trifectas and scored 29 points in a 63-54 win over the Badgers.

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Oklahoma State
Coach Eddie Sutton's Cowboys posted a couple of impressive wins. First, Oklahoma State battled Syracuse and came away with a W at the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Then came a hard-fought home win over a tough UAB squad.

DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK: Jordan Farmar, UCLA
Bruins guard Jordan Farmar put on a show in the second half against a good Pepperdine club. He scored 21 of his 25 points in the second half, scoring nine of UCLA's final 11 points in an 85-83 victory. He hit two key free throws and then scored the winning basket on a drive with less than five seconds left. The Bruins are 5-1, and Farmar has been a key reason for their good start.

CO-SHOCKS OF THE WEEK:
Mississippi over Memphis and Massachusetts over Connecticut
It's been a tough stretch for coach John Calipari and his Tigers. The latest blow was a double-digit loss at home to a Mississippi team that took its lumps against Air Force and Illinois State.

The Huskies had won 13 in a row against the Minutemen but were stunned at Amherst on a basket by Rashaun Freeman with less than five seconds to go. Massachusetts then went out and got blown out by Miami-Florida.

CO-COACHES OF THE WEEK:
Mike Krzyzewski, Duke and Lute Olson, Arizona
Coach K earned his 700th collegiate win in a Duke victory over Toledo. Imagine if Duke AD Tom Butters hadn't kept Krzyzewski as coach after his first three seasons! Coach K had a losing record in years two and three.

Olson earned his 1,000th basketball coaching victory overall (including high school and junior college).
