Leslie has been with the Sparks since the team's inception in 1997. In 1999 she took home MVP honors at the inaugural WNBA All-Star Game while guiding her team to their first ever playoff berth. Leslie helped lead the U.S. Women's National Team to a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney by scoring 15 points in a 76-54 victory over Australia in the gold medal game. My first workout starts at 6:30 am on the track then I lift weights and do abs for an hour and a half with my personal trainer then I practice my personal coach for an hour and then I play pickup with the fellas and try to win three games in a row! One aspect of your game that I admire is your ability to shoot the basketball from all areas on the court. How long do you practice your shooting each day? What kinds of drills do you do? I always tought 9 was the best player on the International teams so when I was given it for the USA team I felt honored to wear it so I kept it as my pro number for those who would remember me from the 1996 Olympics. I do model. I've been modeling professionaly since 1995. I do it mostly in the offseason since we have such a long offseason.
