Classic Portland Road Show Schedule


ESPN Classic's "Road Show" will travel to Portland, where from 1-3 p.m. host Steve Cyphers will be joined live by Dennis Erickson, Russ Francis, Lionel Hollins, Maurice Lucas, Mel Renfro and Mary Slaney as they look back at some of the most memorable moments in Portland and Oregon sports history. Here is Saturday's schedule:

  • Noon - SportsCentury: Bill Walton

  • 1 p.m. - Road Show - Live

  • 3 p.m. - College Football: Oregon @ Oregon State (2000)
    Jonathan Smith throws for two first quarter TDs and Ken Simonton adds a 20-yard TD run as eighth-ranked Oregon State pulls out a 23-13 victory over fifth-ranked Oregon.

  • 5 p.m. - College Basketball: Oregon State @ California (1989)
    Gary Payton scores all nine points in overtime to spark the Beavers to a 69-64 victory over California.

  • 7 p.m. - 2000 Holiday Bowl: Texas vs. Oregon
    Joey Harrington throws for two touchdowns, runs for one and catches a halfback pass for another to lead the Ducks to a 35-30 victory.
